Opening Act for Filmfestival Assen

Animation artist Anne Fie Salverda and I created the opening act for the Internationaal Filmfestival Assen 2023, which focuses on presenting the works of female filmmakers.

Our piece immersed the viewers in an audiovisual experience and functioned as the kick-off for the festival. It was inspired by the feminist theme of the festival and by the history of the province Drenthe, which is known for its bog bodies.
